Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to screen, evaluate, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders across the school day. The role includes collaborating with teachers and families to implement individualized plans.

Candidate should have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and CCC or CFY eligibility is desirable; Maryland licensure or provisional eligibility is expected. This is a school-based, on-site position within MCPS.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• CCC or CFY eligibility desirable.
• MD licensure or provisional eligibility required/desirable.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and provide services to students with communication disorders.
• Consult with teachers and parents to support student progress.
• Attend IEP team meetings and develop/adjust goals and objectives.
