Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to screen, evaluate, diagnose and remediate communication disorders in students birth to 21. You will collaborate with teachers and parents to implement therapy plans and document progress.

Responsibilities include developing goals, writing clinical reports, and actively participating in IEP team meetings to ensure educationally relevant services and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Masters or equivalent in speech-language pathology with expertise in evaluation and therapy.
• Experience collaborating with parents and professionals; ability to develop IEPs and IFSPs.
• Strong written, oral communication and organizational skills; ability to prepare clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, diagnose, and remediate communication disorders in students birth to 21.
• Consult with teachers and parents to implement therapy and supports.
• Participate in IEP team meetings and develop appropriate goals for students.
