Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver direct rehab care in speech therapy upon physician referral. The role requires MS/MA SLP, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure with CPR current.

New grads are welcome to apply and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient communication goals. You will assess and treat patients, maintain documentation, and participate in programs aligned with post-acute care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited speech therapy program (minimum MS or MA SLP).
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility required for credentialing; maintain ASHA credentialing.
• Current state licensure and active status throughout employment.
• New grads welcome; CPR certification on hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients and families to plan for needs.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software accurately.
• Demonstrates professional integrity and maintains confidentiality.
• Work on an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Follow policies, conduct, and compliance training as required.
