Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for The Jewish Hospital. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders across all ages, designing individualized plans and delivering therapy with diverse techniques.

You will educate families, coordinate with the care team, and monitor patient progress to ensure continued improvement and safe discharge. Licensure and CCC-SLP are required or planned, with BLS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• CCC-SLP preferred; must obtain within one year if hired.
• BLS certification required within stated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Conduct evaluations and design treatment plans.
• Implement therapy using multiple techniques; monitor progress.
• Educate families and caregivers for home continuation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in conferences.
