Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist at The Jewish Hospital. You will diagnose and treat speech, language, swallowing disorders across ages, designing plans to enhance communication skills.

The role involves performing evaluations, developing discharge plans, and collaborating with the care team to ensure patients receive high-quality therapy. Licensing and CCC-SLP requirements apply; BLS is also needed per policy.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of current practice.
• CCC-SLP certification required within one year if not already obtained.
• BLS certification required within 30 days for RSFH or at hire for Bon Secours Mercy Health.
• Experience in equivalent setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop treatment and discharge plans.
• Administer speech-language pathology treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design rehabilitative programs addressing language, articulation, fluency, swallowing, and cognition.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic procedures for home continuation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in patient care conferences.
