Qualifications

Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

Responsibilities

Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate care plans.
Under a physician's direction, provides direct patient treatment based on the plan of care.
Plans and conducts rehabilitative treatment to restore communicative abilities.
Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
Instructs residents and caregivers to monitor speech and practice new skills.
Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.
Maintains patient records accurately and timely.
Devises tools and treatments for patients' needs.
