Leisure Glen Post Acute Care Center in Glendale, CA, is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat residents with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in SLP and a California license, strong communication skills, and experience in skilled nursing.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California SLP license.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat residents with swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.
• Provide skilled dysphagia management, cognitive rehabilitation, and communication therapy.
• Complete accurate and timely evaluations, progress reports, and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary, PT, OT, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment recommendations and strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
