Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in Tacoma, WA, including private homes and senior living communities. You will perform evaluations, craft individualized plans of care, and provide evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and independence.

Clinicians may incorporate telehealth to extend access, with autonomy to manage schedules and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in the state of practice (WA).
• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current ASHA CCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one SLP services to older adults in their homes or senior living communities.
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Document in FOX EMR in compliance with regulatory standards.

Speech Language Pathologist – Tacoma, WA FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Tacoma, WA and we’re looking for passionate, licensed Speech Language Pathologists who want to deliver exceptional one-on-one care to older adults right where they live. • Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults wherever they call home (Private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care)
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
• Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC)

Physical Requirements FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
• Wearing PPE when required

Pay & Recruitment Note In Washington, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $55,000 - $95,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.
