Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is growing in Everett, WA, and we’re seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver exceptional one-on-one care to older adults in private residences or senior living communities. You’ll work within the Geriatric House Calls™ model, building strong patient relationships and managing your own schedule.

You’ll have autonomy, flexibility and meaningful patient outcomes, with options to incorporate telehealth for greater access and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in WA (or eligible to obtain license).
• Current CCC from ASHA is required or eligible.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation standards.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in their homes or senior living communities.
• Develop individualized plans of care and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions to support wellness, longevity, mobility and independence.
• Document in FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults wherever they call home (Private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care)

• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards

• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility

• Part-time Speech Language Pathologist – In-Home & Senior Living Care (salaried with benefits eligibility based on minimum hours requirement)
• PRN / FOX Flex Speech Language Pathologist – Home & Community Visits (pay per unit compensation)

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC)

Physical Requirements

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
• Wearing PPE when required

Compensation

In Washington, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $55,000 - $95,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.
