FOX Rehabilitation is expanding in Gaithersburg, MD, seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in homes or Senior Living Communities. The role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and meaningful patient outcomes through the Geriatric House Calls™ model.

You will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapies, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and utilizing telehealth as needed to extend care access and continuity.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice.
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in homes or senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, longevity, mobility, and independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.

Physical Requirements

FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including:

• Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
• Performing CPR
• Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
• Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
• Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model
• Wearing PPE when required

In Maryland, the standard base pay range for a Full-Time role is $70,000 - $105,000 annually with an opportunity to earn more. Part-Time and FOX Flex (PRN) will be pro-rated.
