Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia to evaluate, diagnose, and implement therapy for swallowing and communication/cognitive impairments. You will establish goals, develop comprehensive treatment programs, and deliver rehabilitative services within a coordinated clinical team.

The role focuses on individualized, function-based therapy and collaborative patient care planning, with opportunities to participate in clinical conferences and direct one-on-one sessions.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current State License as a Speech Language Pathologist, or ability to obtain before start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans
• Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a function-based treatment approach
