The Plaza Health & Rehabilitation in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in our in-house subacute rehabilitation unit.

Join our dedicated team to deliver individualized, evidence-based care, develop treatment plans, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary staff. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time candidates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Florida state licensure as SLP.
• Experience in subacute/rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and therapy exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
