Job summary

Citrus Health and Rehabilitation in Inverness, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team. You will help residents recover speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive function in a 111-bed skilled nursing facility with a supportive family environment.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, referral bonuses, PayActiv access, and flexible work schedules with premium pay rates. Florida license and CPR are required; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating, administering and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients.
• Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement.
• Educating patients and family members about communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings.
• Communicating with the dietary department in regard to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions.
