Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose and provide direct therapy for students with articulation, voice, fluency, and language disorders, within the school setting.

The role requires collaboration with teachers and staff to develop and monitor individualized plans, with responsibilities aligned to the 191 workdays calendar; base salary is $74,712, plus benefits and annual performance pay.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• CCC or ASHA certificate and Arizona licenses required.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based services.
• Supervised fieldwork in diverse settings is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and diagnostic services for articulation, language, and voice disorders.
• Develop and monitor speech-language therapy plans and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations within the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records and report progress to parents and administrators.
• Coordinate with speech-language pathology assistants as appropriate.
