Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree, the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Alabama State License.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and provide treatment for individuals of all ages with communication/dysphagia disorders.
• Manage and supervise programs and services related to human communication and its disorders.
• Counsel individuals with disorders of communication, their families, caregivers, and other service providers relative to the disability present and its management.
• Screen, assess, diagnose, and rehabilitate speech, language, and oropharyngeal disorders as part of patient care.
• Perform duties under the direction of the Clinical Director, including documentation and participation in department activities.
