Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support Cambridge, MD area schools on a contract basis. The role covers Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, Dorchester Career & Technology Center, and Maple Elementary School, with primary service at a high school and CTC and weekly elementary support.

The SLP will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services, including telespeech as needed, collaboration for IEPs, progress monitoring, and thorough documentation, for 37.5 hours

Qualifications

• Active Maryland state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC for Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings.
• Ability to deliver services via telepractice.

Job description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting multiple school locations in Cambridge, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services primarily at a high school and a career and technology center, with additional support at an elementary school.

Location: Cambridge, MD

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Contract Duration: August 24, 2026 – June 10, 2027

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in a school setting.
• Conducting telespeech sessions with students as needed.
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications And Experience

• Current and active Maryland state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in school-based settings.
• Ability to deliver services using telepractice methods.
