Job summary

Palm Garden is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents in our post-acute care setting in Florida. You will assess residents with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing issues and tailor therapy plans to improve communication and safe eating.

Collaboration with the clinical team ensures coordinated, patient-centered care. Applicants should hold an active Florida SLP license and demonstrate a caring demeanor with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active and Clear SLP license in the State of Florida.
• Caring attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents with speech, language, cognitive or swallowing issues and track progress.
• Develop and adjust therapy plans based on individual needs and progress.
• Document progress in the medical record and communicate updates to the clinical team.

What You Will Do

• Assess residents with speech, language, cognitive or swallowing issues. Track progress and adjust therapy plans based on their needs.
• Work with residents who have trouble speaking, understanding, or swallowing. Use exercises and techniques to help improve communication and safe eating.
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the clinical team.

What We Are Looking For
