Job summary

The Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients in our rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans, document progress, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure are required; CCC-SLP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Strong clinical expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy planning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work with diverse patients across ages and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique goals
• Deliver therapy for communication disorders, fluency challenges, voice issues, and swallowing difficulties
• Use evidence-based methods and cutting-edge techniques to boost patient progress
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care
• Track patient progress, document sessions, and maintain detailed records
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies for everyday success
