Job summary

The St. Andrew Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy services, evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and support residents’ goals.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, educate residents and families, and participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and discharge recommendations.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in speech-language pathology (master's preferred)

Current, unencumbered ST or SLP license in Tennessee

Position Summary
