Job summary

ClearSky Health in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN, day-shift role. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans of care, administer prescribed treatment, and guide patients through to discharge as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements include current state licensure, BLS/CPR, and CCC from ASHA or CFY status. Compensation includes a PRN rate of $60/hour, 401(k) with company match, and growth opportunities with mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of speech language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing and fluency disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards.

The Role - What You’ll Do

Our Speech Pathologists Deliver Care Aligned With Our Patient Centered Values Assess, Diagnose And Treat a Wide Range Of Speech Language, Cognitive Communication, Voice, Swallowing And Fluency Disorder Through

  • Evaluation of patients and development of individualized treatment plans including ongoing assessment and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards
Qualifications - What We're Looking For
  • Current state Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • BLS/CPR Certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year Status is required for this position.
Physical Requirements - What You Need To Know
  • A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
  • Both gross and precise motor functions.
  • Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
  • Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
