Job summary

Oak Hill Village is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our therapy team as a full-time employee. You will provide rehabilitative therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders under regulatory guidelines and clinical standards.

Responsibilities include documentation of progress and collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation Services to ensure quality care and compliance. New grads welcomed and a sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Must be ASHA certified (CCC-SLP).
• Must have current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania.

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to a prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Job Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Must be ASHA certified (CCCs)
• Must have current and active license with the state of Pennsylvania
• One year experience in long-term care or related setting preferred
