Job Type: PRN

City/State: Crown Point, IN

What you will do in this role:
  • Help patients recover and improve their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through therapy.
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily.
  • Document patient care according to regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Instruct family members or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to the company's code of conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and legal requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
  • Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA’s Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
  • At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
