What you will do in this role:

• Help patients recover and improve their well-being by providing therapy to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to patient records daily.
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Perform responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, compliance agreements, professional standards, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA’s Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
• At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of service.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
