Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children in their homes. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, create individualized plans, and deliver therapy for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing while engaging families for carryover at home.

We value collaboration, mentorship, and clinical excellence, with flexible scheduling including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• Pediatric experience preferred; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate families on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required
