SriMatrix health is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team in Hilo, Hawaii. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an acute rehabilitation setting.

The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and the rehab team.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii SLP License is required by start date.
• ASHA CCC is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience.
• Acute Rehab, SNF, or Hospital experience preferred.
• Independent MBS experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams.
