Job summary

H2 Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our inpatient hospital team in Winchester, Kentucky. This full-time role focuses on evaluations, treatment planning, and dysphagia management for adult and geriatric patients.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy colleagues, document electronically, and participate in discharge planning while expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to patient outcomes in a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required/preferred
• CCC-SLP certification required
• Active Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility)
• Minimum 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• Inpatient or hospital-based experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide skilled intervention for dysphagia, communication disorders, and cognitive deficits
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and PT/OT teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and discharge planning
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards

Your Role:

As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in this inpatient hospital setting, you will:

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations

This is an experienced-level role and is not designed for new graduates.

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Active Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum of 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
