Job summary

H2 Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our hospital-based outpatient clinic in Winchester, KY. The role focuses on pediatric caseload with occasional inpatient support, treating articulation, language delays, autism, CAS, fluency, feeding, voice, and related disorders.

This experienced-level position requires CCC-SLP, a Kentucky license (or eligibility), and 1+ year of clinical experience; inpatient/hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• Active Kentucky SLP license or eligibility to obtain required.
• Minimum of 1+ year clinical experience preferred.
• Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat a pediatric outpatient caseload with articulation, language delays, ASD, CAS, fluency, dysphagia, and voice disorders.
• Provide occasional inpatient coverage for adults/geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and care plans.
• Maintain clinical documentation and participate in ongoing professional development.

Setting:Hospital-based outpatient clinic (primary) with occasional acute care support

At Centerpoint Health in Winchester, H2 Health provides speech-language pathology services in a hospital-based outpatient clinic. This is primarily an outpatient position: the majority of your time will be spent in the clinic treating a mostly pediatric caseload, along with some adult patients. Our outpatient clinicians treat:

• Articulation and Phonological Disorders:
• Expressive and Receptive Language Delays:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD):
• Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS):
• Fluency Disorders (Stuttering):
• Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia):
• Voice and Resonance Disorders

On an occasional, as-needed basis, you'll also support the hospital's acute care setting, treating adult and geriatric patients. This coverage adds variety and keeps your skills sharp across the lifespan, while your core schedule and caseload remain in the outpatient clinic.

This is an experienced-level role and is not designed for new graduates.

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Active Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Minimum of 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
