Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to students in a vibrant New Orleans area school. This full-time contract role follows a Monday-Friday schedule, 7 hours daily with a 30-minute lunch, aligned with the academic calendar.

You will partner with educators and families to support students' communication and academic growth while maintaining compliance with district policies and required credentialing processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure in Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain).
• ASHA CCC-SLP credential preferred (CCC-SLP).
• Experience in K-12 or pediatric school-based settings advantageous.
• Ability to complete time-sensitive district credentialing (drug screening and fingerprints).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, with caseloads and ages assigned.
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with educators and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain thorough documentation per district policies.
• Support students' success in classroom activities and peer interactions.
