Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis to provide valuable speech and language services in a thriving school environment. You will collaborate with students, teachers, and families to support academic growth and communication skills.

Required: Master’s in SLP, state licensure or eligibility, and CCC preferred (CFY considered). Duties include screenings, IEP development, direct/consultative therapy, and progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP.
• CCC from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals.
• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both group and individual settings.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of student progress.
• Partner with teachers and other specialists to create engaging learning experiences.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and family consultations.
• Support the social and academic integration of students with communication challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
