Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility)
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are also encouraged
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly valued
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse student populations
• A collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Serve as a resource on communication disorders, strategies, and best practices within the school environment
