Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to support students across multiple grade levels in a school-based setting. The role focuses on direct therapy, screenings, and collaboration with teachers and families to unlock each student's communication potential.

You will develop and document IEP goals, maintain progress reports, and participate in multidisciplinary teams while adhering to district and state requirements.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state licensure and CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility.
  • Experience in educational settings with children preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs.
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students eligibility for services.
  • Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in accordance with school district and legal requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as an integral member of the student support team.
  • Provide consultation and support to staff regarding language and communication strategies in the classroom.
