Evolve Therapy Services in Tampa, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house Skilled Nursing Facility partner on a PRN basis. You will plan, organize, and direct speech-language services in accordance with CMS and state standards, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Must have Master's in SLP, CCC, and active license; continuing education encouraged; position offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals per standards and productivity.
• Evaluate and collect data for treatment planning.
• Develop a treatment plan with short- and long-term goals.
• Educate patients, families, and staff for carryover of therapy goals.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in resident screening to ensure needs are met timely.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: PRN

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Job Functions:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
