Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, AK. The Day Shift will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in acute and adult rehab settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have CCC-SLP, FEES/MBSImP certifications, and experience with Epic and charting systems. A valid Alaska SLP license and BLS are required. Benefits include health coverage and travel support.

Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and adult rehabilitation settings, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapy interventions.
  • Utilize communication devices and assistive technology to facilitate communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding communication and swallowing techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum 1 year of previous charge experience preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, FEES*, MBSImP*.
  • Valid AK SLP license required.
  • Experience with charting systems (preferably Epic).
