Are you a Speech Language Pathologist looking for a new opportunity? Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health SLP to join our team in Westminster, MD. Our Home Health SLP provides expert, patient-centered care.

Location & Schedule

Office Location: Westminster, MD

Coverage area: Howard / Baltimore County

Schedule: PRN

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations

Salary

USD $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
