Adoration Home Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for PRN home health care. You will provide patient-centered, 1:1 therapy to improve speech and communication in the home setting, with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech and language disorders through 1:1 patient sessions.
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient goals.
• Document therapy notes and outcomes per agency policy.
• Provide guidance for communication strategies outside therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations

Salary Range

USD $40.00 - $55.00 / Hour
