Compensation:

• $41.00 to $68.00 per hour

About Amedisys:

Amedisys is a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care, dedicated to helping patients and families navigate healthcare with compassion and patient-centered service.

Responsibilities:

1. Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
2. Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and manage augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of experience in speech pathology.

Note: Candidates without CCC-SLP certification may be placed into the SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) position, which involves supervision, hour requirements, and mentoring.
