Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our Cullman, AL team. You will provide expert, patient-centered care in a home health setting, working PRN with flexibility and strong team support.

The role emphasizes independent practice with collaborative care, ongoing professional development, and meaningful patient impact in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to evaluate levels of speech or language difficulty and determine need for continued therapy services.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with limited speech.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises to support progress outside direct therapy sessions.
• Document progress and clinical notes and submit visit documentation per agency policy.

• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by the state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
