Job summary

Point Quest Group is hiring a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist for maternity leave coverage. The role is full-time and remote for Michigan, requiring MI SLP licensure and Educator License endorsement to serve as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Impairment.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by Michigan (LARA) with master’s or doctoral degree from a CAA-accredited program.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification or completion of required supervised postgraduate clinical experience.
• Michigan Educator License/endorsement for school-based speech-language services or eligibility to obtain it.
• One year of experience in speech therapy and ability to work on IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours where applicable.

Job Title: Virtual Speech Language Pathologist

Pay Range: $50-$60 / hourly

Virtual School-Based SLP (Maternity Leave Coverage)

About the Role

This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave, providing speech and language therapy services to students. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), which requires a master's or doctoral degree from a CAA-accredited program and either current ASHA CCC-SLP certification or completion of the required supervised postgraduate clinical experience
• Michigan Department of Education approval/endorsement to serve as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Impairment (the "Educator License"), which requires a master's degree in speech-language pathology and the coursework specified under Michigan's special education rules
• Completion of a Michigan criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain via endorsement)
• Michigan Educator License/approval for school-based speech-language services
• One year of experience in speech therapy
