Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. You will provide assessment, treatment planning, and therapy under physician orders, serving patients with complex conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: CA license, CCC-SLP or CFY in progress, ASHA membership, and Vibra-approved BLS. One year of experience preferred; strong organizational skills and clinical documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or in the CFY process required.
• Member of ASHA required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, documentation, and communication.
• Functions under physician’s orders.

Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Posted Total Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48.00/hr to $63.33/hr
