Job summary

Vibra Healthcare's Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City is seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. You will provide and direct SLP services, including assessment, treatment planning, and documentation under physician orders, serving a diverse patient population.

Ideal candidates hold an active SLP license in the state, CCC-SLP or CFY, and ASHA membership, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with a

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
• CCC-SLP certification or in process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association required.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
• Functions under physician’s orders.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure continuity of care and patient progress.

Overview

Rehab and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is seeking a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
