Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas in Mandan, ND is seeking a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a flexible schedule. You will provide and direct SLP services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and physician communication.

Required credentials include an active SLP license in North Dakota, CCC-SLP or CFY in progress, ASHA membership, and Vibra-approved BLS certification. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or currently completing CFY.
• ASHA member in good standing.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND is a 41 bed Critical Care Hospital, providing long‑term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech‑Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
