Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care in Brooklyn seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality, home-based care across East New York and Canarsie. This full-time role serves pediatric and adult caseloads with cases typically 30 minutes to 1 hour, in clients' homes.

You will evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, develop individualized plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, educate families on home exercises, and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting.

We are currently hiring 1 full-time SLP to provide home-based care throughout the East New York and Canarsie neighborhoods in Brooklyn and to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.

Cases are usually 30 minutes and can go up to 1 hour.

Pay: $110,000.00-$115,000.00/annually

*To be considered, candidates must have a valid and active New York State SLP license*.
