Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to deliver home-based care across Manhattan & the Bronx, serving pediatric and adult caseloads. You will evaluate and treat speech, language and communication disorders, promoting quality of life and independence in patients’ homes.

As a full-time clinician, you will provide rehabilitative services to clients unable to travel to clinics, collaborate with healthcare teams, and support family education and home exercise

Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Home care experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting.

We are currently hiring a full-time SLP to provide home-based care throughout Manhattan & the Bronx to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.

Pay: $110,000.00-$115,000.00/annually

*To be considered, candidates must have a valid and active New York State SLP license*

Job Overview
