Job summary

Medstaff Group is seeking a NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Early Intervention in Brooklyn. The contract role covers birth to age five, with flexible caseloads and in-home or daycare-based service delivery.

The clinician will perform 1:1 evaluations, implement EI goals, and document progress while coordinating with the child’s care team across neighborhoods like Boro Park, Park Slope, and Crown Heights.

Qualifications

• Current NYS SLP license is required.
• Experience with children under five preferred; mentorship possible for new entrants to age group.
• Comfort delivering services in home- and daycare-based settings.

Responsibilities

Position Overview
A growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech-language evaluations and treatment to children from birth to age five in Boro Park, Park Slope, and Crown Heights. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s everyday environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 speech-language evaluations and treatment sessions
• Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or another natural environment
• Develop and follow individualized treatment plans aligned with Early Intervention goals
• Document each session and coordinate with the child’s care team

Qualifications

• Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Comfort providing services in home- and daycare-based settings
• One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship.

• Boro Park: Yiddish-speaking speech providers are especially needed.
