Job summary

Medstaff Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) to provide speech-language treatment to children birth to five under supervision in Brooklyn neighborhoods including Boro Park, Park Slope, and Crown Heights. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the chance to work in children's natural environments.

Salary is $72–$74 per 30-minute visit. The position emphasizes mentorship, supervision, and collaboration with the child’s care team; home- and daycare-based

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year in SLP.
• Experience with children under five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient.
• Comfort delivering services in home- and daycare-based settings.
• One year+ experience with young children preferred; mentorship available for newcomers.

Position Overview

A growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CFY) to provide speech-language treatment to children from birth to age five with supervision from a licensed SLP in Boro Park, Park Slope, and Crown Heights. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children's everyday environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language treatment sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or another natural environment
• Follow individualized Early Intervention treatment plans
• Document each session and coordinate with the supervising SLP and care team

Qualifications

• Currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year in Speech-Language Pathology
• Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Comfort providing services in home- and daycare-based settings
• One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship.
