Job summary

TheraCare Bronx is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language delays while collaborating with families in various settings.

TheraCare has provided high-quality Early Intervention services throughout New York City for over 30 years. Our mission is to support children from birth to age 3 with communication delays and developmental needs through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking Speech Language Pathologists to deliver therapy in home and community-based settings.

Position Overview

As an SLP with TheraCare, you will provide direct services to infants and toddlers in their natural environments. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language delays, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families to support carryover and communication development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and provide speech-language therapy to children ages 0–3.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IFSP goals.
  • Educate and coach families to support generalization and developmental growth.
  • Document all sessions and progress according to NYC EI guidelines.
  • Participate in IFSP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Flexible schedules with borough-based caseloads.

  • Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
