Eyas Landing - Avondale in Chicago, IL seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Department Lead / Supervisor for our Therapeutic Day Program. The role is clinic-based at 3319 N. Elston Ave, Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm with no evenings or weekends.

You will provide individualized therapy, mentor other SLPs, and lead growth initiatives while coordinating with OT/PT and social workers. The package includes competitive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and ongoing CEU support.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Illinois license (IDFPR) to practice as SLP.
• Experience providing behavior therapy to children with autism or neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
• Implementing SOS Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, AAC, and IRM.
• Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
• Mentoring clinicians and providing supervision to ensure consistent care and growth.

• Total Compensation Package: Valued between $94,900-$103,000.
• Annual Salary: $77,400–$83,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide speech therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Department Lead / Supervisor at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will foster each child's speech, receptive and expressive language, feeding and swallowing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Providing individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
• Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Get Permission Approach, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
• Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists, and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
• Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Speech Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license through IDFPR
• Experience providing behavior therapy services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
• Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
• Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
• Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.
