Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY for a role split between East Hartford and Bloomfield, CT. You will provide comprehensive therapy in sub-acute/skilled nursing settings and collaborate with rehab staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered SLP therapy in sub-acute/skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain timely documentation with strong computer skills.
• Be flexible with hours and scheduling in a two-site setting.
• Travel between East Hartford and Bloomfield, CT, with paid mileage.
• Provide ongoing patient assessment and discharge planning.

Overview A full-time Speech Language Pathologist, (ST / SLP), or Clinical Fellow (CFY) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab departments located in East Hartford and Bloomfield, CT. The successful candidate will split time between the two facilities. Travel time and mileage are paid when traveling in between two facilities on one day. Rate Range: $36 - $46/hr #LI-MB1

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist, (ST / SLP / CFY), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours.
