Markent Personnel seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CF) for a full-time role in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative team.

Clinical Fellows are welcome. The position offers daytime hours, rotating weekend coverage, and pay between $35.96 and $50.08 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• New York State SLP license or eligibility.
• CFs welcome; CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates.
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or post-acute experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education.
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program.

• CFs welcome -Could take an experienced CFY (position will also require lots of autonomy) - cover acute care / SNF / OP.
• CCC-SLPpreferred for experienced candidates
• Skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to assist with lifting and moving patients
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
