Job summary

Centra Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP-CCC for a SNF/LTC contract assignment in Massillon, OH.

You will provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders, work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust plans of care, and set achievable goals for communication and swallowing to help patients resume daily activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school.
• Current state license or actively pursuing licensure as SLP.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care for speech therapy goals.
• Set realistic goals for communication and swallowing.

Job Description:

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.


• Days schedule.


• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.


• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.


• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.


• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.


• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.


• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that the patient can fulfill their educational, vocational and social roles


• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.
